Hello CMMC FMRP Graduate!

It is my pleasure to be coordinating this year’s 30th Residency Reunion.  Dr. Claxton, the faculty and staff of the residency program and I are so hoping that you and your spouse/partner and family will join us for a weekend of learning, reminiscing and best of all…..PLAYING!

We plan, as we have done for past reunions, to hold an 8 hour CME to focus on best practices in the care of families including topics that will span the spectrum of patients to whom you provide out- and inpatient care.   The educational sessions will span Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.  Having an educational component to the reunion affords you the opportunity to “classify” the trip as an educational/professional expense.

Friday night we have planned a pizza party at Davinci’s – for those of you who attended the last reunion, you will be surprised to see the new Davinci’s – it moved one block away to a bigger and better space.  This will be a time for current and former residents and faculty and their families to break bread, drink spirits (or non-spirits) and reminisce.

At the end of Friday morning’s CME session, we will be having a Memorial Service for the residency family we have lost since our last gathering – Drs. Paul Benson, John Hampshire and Walt Peterlin.

And no reunion would be complete without a chance to kick up our heels.  The plan for Saturday evening is a dinner dance with a photo show included.

Hope to see you on August 15-17.  If you can’t join us but would like to offer up some information about how and what you and your families are doing, please email me at dtaylor@cmhc.org and I will be sure that your information is shared with those who have known you at CMMC.

Sincerely,

Deborah Taylor, Ph.D., Associate Program Director
