Director: Claudia K. Geyer, M.D. is residency trained and board-certified in both family medicine and internal medicine and has practiced as a hospitalist since completing her chief resident year in 2001. 

Dr. Geyer was one of the original members of CMH, and in addition to leadership and participation in quality committees at CMMC she serves as the rotation director for the Inpatient Medicine Teaching Service, sits on the Residency Education Committee, and is a member of the SHM Family Medicine Task Force.

Assistant Director: Edmund Claxton, M.D. served as residency director for CMFMRP from 2001-2009. He has an additional 30 years experience as a faculty member.

Dr Claxton has assumed many leadership roles at CMMC during that time. He is currently spending most of his time teaching in the residency and is also involved in public health, leadership and practice improvement projects for CMMC.
