Curriculum

• 22 of the 39 rotations over 3 years must be identical for both the Rural Track and Lewiston residents

• All PGY1 rotations are done at CMMC

• PGY2 rotations at CMMC: Anesthesiology (2 weeks), Inpatient Pediatrics, ICU, Maternity Care (or away-away), Medicine Teaching Service Senior

• PGY3 rotations at CMMC: Maternity Care (or away-away), Dermatology, ENT/Ophthalmology

• PGY2s average 3 half-days in Family Medicine Center (FMC) per week

• PGY3s average 5 half-days in FMC per week

• Longitudinal Family Medicine rotations (ten rotations over two years) in Rumford will include: FMC, inpatient Family Medicine, nursing home and home visits, gynecology, cardiology, orthopedics, urology, occupational medicine, behavioral medicine and community health/rural focused topics
